Track and windspeed of Intense hurricane Norbert

Intense hurricane Norbert struck Mexico as a hurricane at about 15:00 GMT on 11 October. Data supplied by the US Navy and Air Force Joint Typhoon Warning Center suggest that the point of landfall was near 24.3 N, 111.9 W. Norbert brought 1-minute maximum sustained winds to the region of around 166 km/h (103 mph). Wind gusts in the area may have been considerably higher.

According to the Saffir-Simpson damage scale the potential property damage and flooding from a storm of Norbert's strength (category 2) at landfall includes:
