Sri Lanka - This map illustrates satellite-detected IDP shelters within the camps of Veerapuram, Sumathipura & Maha kongaskada as identified from WorldView-1 satellite imagery recorded on 26 June 2009. The IDP shelters have been identified from the imagery using automatic detection methods and manually. The total number and area of shelters within each zone has been estimated, however these numbers are highly preliminary and have not been verified. Map scale for A3: 1:10,000; Projection : UTM Zone 44 North; Datum : WGS 1984.
