Two weeks in late September and early October bought an unprecedented number of emergencies in Asia: Typhoon Ketsana ripped across the Philippines and Vietnam; a deadly earthquake struck Sumatra in Indonesia; and Samoa was devastated by a tsunami.

Save the Children has been responding in all locations - meeting the immediate needs of children and their families, and helping them to recover in the longer term.

This video shows Save the Children's work in South East Asia in action.
