SEOUL, Aug 22 (Reuters) - North Korean officials visiting the South for the funeral of former President Kim Dae-jung have extended their stay in Seoul from an earlier plan to leave on Saturday, South Korean media reported.

YTN cable TV news said the extension might be related to a possible meeting with the South's President Lee Myung-bak. A spokeswoman of the Unification Ministry said she could not confirm anything about the northern delegation's schedule. (Reporting by Kim Yeon-hee; Editing by Jonathan Thatcher)
