A farmer shouts slogans as he protests with a mock metal ball chained to his foot, representing peasantry suffering from farm household debt, at a rally at the Yeouido Culture Plaza, in Seoul November 17, 2009. About 15,000 farmers rallied near the parliament on Tuesday calling on President Lee Myung-Bak to address problems of left over excessive stock of rice following the steep decline of its price. Protesters also demanded the surplus of rice to be sent to North Korea to aid starvation. Protesters were also rallying against the South Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement (FTA) agreement, on the eve of U.S. President Barack Obama's visit to the South. The words on the metal ball reads, "farm household debt". REUTERS/Choi Bu-Seok (SOUTH KOREA AGRICULTURE CONFLICT BUSINESS POLITICS)
